This collection contains interviews with Chester Johnson and John Kendall. Johnson began teaching at Gustavus during the early 1940s and remained in various capacities through the 1990s. Kendall served as college president during the 1980s and early 1990s.

Images from the Lutheran Church Archives are located in this collection. Pictures are primarily from the Minnesota Synod and Red River Valley Synod, bodies within the Lutheran Church in America (LCA). In addition, there are pictures from before the LCA's 1962 creation.
